I found that a lot of energy concepts are much easier to learn if you use the concept (mind model) of energy balls. In the Martial Arts the analogue of a ball on the end of a chain is used for getting the correct feeling for punching.

I’ve managed to easily get the feeling of energy moving all around my and my colleagues bodies using an energy ball mind model. Once you can get the feeling of moving energy around your body – you become far more aware of what’s happening in your body and it becomes far easier to link your body awareness with your mindful awareness.
